Here are some improvements in this version:

  • UPDATED! Added database and cleaning 114 local virus / foreign / new variants have been spread in Indonesia. Total 3923 virus and its variants.
  • ADDED! Removal special engine to clean the virus completely Fanny, Rascal.B, FakeAV-Downloader.G, Delp-Shortcut and its variants widespread in Indonesia.
  • Improved! Overwriting library files and cleaning up the old registry when running the latest PCMAV.
  • FIXED! RTP repair not to show the detection results a duplicate.
  • FIXED! Repair exit which sometimes result in error message from Windows.
  • FIXED! Improvement of the blank scan time while doing scans through context menu.

PCMAV Valhalla Beta

Here are the latest version of PCMAV that is currently in Beta (public testing).
New Features in PC Beta Media Valhalla.

  • Link Protector. It is one of the main features of the latest that can provide protection when users surf. Link Protector feature is capable of intercepting a malicious website that has the potential to spread malware to phishing measures. With a collection of databases that can be updated, security on internet can be maintained.
  • Anti-Keystroke. One of the threats from malware that is popular today is the theft of data. Latest Features Anti-Keystroke will intercept in real-time recording keyboard keystrokes made by the majority of the many key logger programs currently available.
  • Extension Manager. Some extensions are contained in Valhalla Beta can be used as an aid in analyzing the system programs such as Task Manager, Process Monitor, and Locked Viewer handles. Looking forward, the SDK Extension Manager will be published so that third parties can also get involved in making an additional extension, but safety is maintained.

  • Improved! Optimization of RTP engine so it is more compatible with programs that are running.
  • Improved! Repair RTP view that sometimes widened.
  • Improved! Elimination of installation error messages when running PCMAV service in a non-administrator account.
  • Improved! Change of name of the virus found a new variant.
  • Improved! Fixes some minor bugs and improved the internal code to ensure that antivirus PCMAV remain the pride of Indonesia.

Along with publishing New PCMedia magazine (January 2011). PCMAV 4.5 Ragnarok 3 released. Latest PCMAV have an internal virus database as much as 3704 viruses.
Here are some improvements in this version:

  • UPDATED! Added database and cleaning 109 local virus /foreign / new variants have been spread in Indonesia. Total 3704 virus and its variants.
  • ADDED! Removal special engine to clean the virus completely Tondano and its variants are widely spread in Indonesia.
  • ADDED! Update feature to update the vdb file by selecting menu Update on the system tray.
  • ADDED! Features scan to check for hidden streams at once can clean the virus in the form of Alternate Data Streams on the file.
  • ADDED! Features self-protection for the process is not easily turned off PCMAV mainly by local virus.
  • ADDED! The parameter "/ nomutex" so PCMAV does not check mutex in order to remain able to walk.
